In many ways, our story began more than 30 years ago—a life journey that eventually became a journey with Christ. With each passing day, we’ve grown closer to one another and to our Father God.

Our mission work truly began in 2018. That year was Amanda’s first trip to the Baja California Peninsula. At the time, I was preoccupied with life back in the States, but when she returned that summer, I knew in my heart that I had to go.

In 2019, we took our first trip together—and that’s when the dream began. A dream of serving in God’s Kingdom, living as disciples, and following Christ wherever He led us.

Then the pandemic hit. It paused our travels, but it also became a blessing. It gave us time to refocus, to listen, and to seek God’s voice about the path He was preparing for us.

In February 2022, we took our first trip alone to Baja—a six-week trial meant to help us discern God’s direction. Yet even before our time was up, we knew His answer. We returned to the U.S. for one month to liquidate everything we had built there. In May 2022, we came back to Baja to begin the journey we now call New Life, New Missions
